On November 7, NanoRay Biotech and Yuanpei University of Medical Technology signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU), with NanoRay CEO Maick Su and Yuanpei President Ching-Kang Wang officiating the partnership. The collaboration focuses on student internships, faculty research projects, and exchange programs, aiming to foster excellence in radiation and X-ray technology.
CEO Su highlighted NanoRay’s dedication to X-ray technology development over the years, spanning applications in cancer treatment, medical imaging, and industrial non-destructive testing. He emphasized the growing demand for X-ray talent and the opportunity for Yuanpei to cultivate skilled professionals, including international students, to strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
President Wang noted that Yuanpei has long prioritized practical industry experience for students in medical technology and innovative radiation techniques. This partnership will provide students with hands-on experience in medical imaging, industry exposure, and international collaboration, enhancing their career readiness.
Yuanpei’s faculty and students have already applied X-ray imaging technology in projects such as AI-based egg quality assessment for smart agriculture, earning national and international awards. NanoRay’s X-ray solutions have been successfully implemented in the food safety industry, and the collaboration aims to further develop innovative applications in smart agriculture.
CEO Su concluded that combining NanoRay’s technology with Yuanpei’s expertise will drive innovation in medical and industrial X-ray applications, creating a new milestone in the field.
