In recent years, declining birth rates and rising health awareness have shifted pediatric growth assessment from demand-driven services to routine monitoring and management, driving sustained growth in the demand for bone age assessment. At the same time, expectations for imaging equipment have evolved from basic diagnostic functionality to comprehensive solutions that emphasize low radiation exposure, safety, and space efficiency.

NanoRay Biotech has developed the RevoluX hand X-ray imaging system, featuring low radiation dose and an integrated shielding design. This reduces radiation exposure during long-term pediatric follow-up while eliminating the need for dedicated shielded rooms, enhancing space flexibility for clinics and accelerating the adoption of advanced imaging technologies in primary care settings.

Market observations indicate that imaging solutions combining safety and space efficiency have become a key factor in upgrading pediatric growth clinics.

Lelune Clinic, one of the first in Taiwan to adopt RevoluX, has been actively advancing pediatric growth medicine in recent years. Following its Taipei location, the clinic has recently established a new branch in Banqiao and continues to introduce low-dose imaging equipment, demonstrating a forward-looking strategy aligned with industry trends.

Dr. Chuan-Hung Kao, Chief Medical Officer of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, noted that bone age assessment is a crucial indicator of children’s physiological development, helping monitor growth and enabling timely medical recommendations.

Dr. Lin-Ya Huang, Director of Lelune Clinic Banqiao, pointed out that as healthcare service models evolve, medical equipment has expanded beyond diagnostic tools to become a key factor in enhancing patient experience and operational efficiency. In pediatric care, safety and imaging quality are equally important. The adoption of low-dose imaging systems not only reduces radiation risk and improves the safety of long-term monitoring, but also optimizes clinic space planning and workflow efficiency, making it an essential component in pediatric growth care settings.

Dr. Nan-Hung Chen, Director of Lelune Clinic, announced that the new Banqiao branch is scheduled to open on April 26. With the launch of the new facility and upgraded equipment, the clinic is expected to significantly enhance its service capacity and further promote the widespread adoption of low-radiation imaging technology in primary healthcare.

Dr. Lin-Ya Huang stated that RevoluX reduces radiation risk while improving clinical safety and operational efficiency.
